Manna Rose Construction
In Novemer of 2008 we began construction of our growing dome at the Dancing Colors Site. We first did the work to level a place for our new indoor growing space called Manna Rose. The pictures shown below were during the construction. The dome itself took 3 days to erect. We have been constructing the inner beds in two phases with the first being the outer beds and we are now ready for the inner beds. The outer beds are filling up with a variety of greens along with tomatoes, peppers, beets and green onions. Our first crops were harvested the week of April 12, 2009.
Information About Manna Rose
Manna Rose is a 42' dome purchased from Growing Spaces located in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Growing Spaces has a wide selection of domes from 12' up to 51'. The dome has a 11' diameter water tank which provides thermal mass. We have constructed a loft over our tank to provide for storage and a nice warm place for starts. It would also make a wonderful sunbathing location!
